am 95% out now. girlfriend has a debilitating migraine to the point of vomitting and would feel like worlds biggest cunt if i left her to look after herself while I went out on a drunken bike ride. if she feels better in next hour or so I'll consider catching the ride up.

I'm busy tonight plus I think my cold got infected after the 5 miles run yesterday (overheated).

I bailed out at Chelsea Bridge for a cup of tea and an early night. Also, was slightly conscious that my squeaking brakes would eventually get me a punch on the nose.

Ergh, sorry for bailing at Wandsworth bridge, but the ladies with us were getting tired, and feeling that it was time to head back.
Many thanks to you all for waiting when one of the four of use had a puncture, and an especial thanks to Dropout, for waiting for me when my cleats came loose.
We had a great time, and I'm already looking forward to the next Bridges ride.

I came along this evening on a bit of a whim! It was great to meet some new friends and old. I wish I'd been able to stay until the end but I had to head homeward after Chelsea/ Battersea.
All in all, some 28-and-a-half chilly miles for me. Lovely way to finish Saturday. Thanks.

Had a pretty good time seeing a few old faces. Bailed or, more like, stopped and had a good bit of munch at the shop at Putney Bridge....
10 minutes I was there after the last of you left, then the mother of all brawls kicked off inside the bar next door - 10-15 people came bundling out of the place, half of them wielding bottles. One guy backed out in to the road only to get an empty wine bottle across the face. REALLY hope to never have to see that again....
Hope everyone got home safely if a bit cold! Don't think I've ridden that fast out of Putney in all my life....

That pace back was absolutely brutal. Needless to say it dropped off a bit after I left you guys in Camden.
Top night's entertainment, my legs are going to get me for it tomorrow though

Great way to spend a Saturday night.
Here is a picture of a can that was bounced around in my basket all night. I like to think it says something about what the evening was like, and if it doesn't and I'm just being a dick, I still think it looks really cool and feels really pleasing to touch, as all the people I kept showing it to probably realise.

Massive brawl outside the Boston Arms on the way home as well, seems Saturday night really is alright for fighting, tho it's clearly better for riding. Cheers everybody, great company as always, tho there were a few I shamefully failed to say hi to properly.
