Won't last - they'll be flaming him tomorrow for skipping the nursery...

Heh. I let people skip the nursery with any half-decent reason, this was more than half-decent. He asked last night, I did it this morning.

Bike and owner are due to be reunited next week!
Thanks again to everyone for reading and posting here, and the behind-the-scenes efforts. I appreciate all the advice, and the kind words. I will stick around, even though I (mostly) ride the wrong kind of bike.

Ha, I drive a van and they've accepted me. OK I get hate mail from time to time but that's life.

Amazing news.. man & bike reunited!
[QUOTE]Mine was stashed inside the hospital (I wasn't going anywhere) and ended up being nicked by an employee. Once out I kept on at the security boss and they actually found who it was. He got nicked and I got most of my bike back.
Can't believe this happened! I thought it was bad my bike was nicked from OUTSIDE the hospital...
But on a happy note.. Friday celebrations for the bike returning hero, hope others follow in your footsteps!

Awesome thread. Accident sounds bad, but everything else has made a hellish Friday end on a far happier note. Good work to everyone involved.

Don't worry - a lot of people on here ride all kinds of different bikes. #scoble
