Nope, just the older version!
-
• #2828
I don’t think they ever even mention internal junction - it’s just ‘bar end’ isn’t it!

Out pedanted the pedant!

Just get eTap and this ‘problem’ goes away.
-
• #2831
do you have etap HRD? Can I play with it?
-
• #2832
If only there was a long cage eTap derailleur.
-
• #2833
I just have regular eTap. I did consider HRD for the cross bike, but the cost of new rear mechs fails my ‘only race what you can afford to replace’ rule.

There is. The WiFLi version will take an 11-32 cassette
-
• #2835
I would consider that medium cage.

I might go for this option too. I'm wondering what type bars you're thinking of drilling? Alu Carbon? I think @Señor_Bear had luck with drilling Alu bars.
I have a set of nice carbon superlegera rs bars I'd like to use. Wondering if I could drill a hole in the bottom of the drop just in front of the back of the junction box.
I wonder if drilling carbon at the back of the drops is certain death by structural failure. -

I drilled alu bars. Have not died yet in 4 years of abusive riding.

Very end of the drops is a fair way away from any stresses though
-
• #2839
Kind of my thoughts. Carbon rims are drilled afterall

lol wut?
Do you sprint on the tops?
-
• #2841
Do you sprint with the edge of your hands over your bar ends?
-
• #2842
yes

• #2843
I have fake teeth, not worth drilling IMO. Is there no product available or is it expensive?
1 teeth = £1000
-
• #2845
tell me I look good with fake teeth
-
• #2846
As I don't have any alu bars spare for the Isen, I might just go for the Pro Vibe or some old style superzeros
-
• #2847
I drilled holes in mine at the tops just by the shifters
-
• #2848
That's what I did with another bike with the junction box hidden inside a stem with an open front plate to make things neat.
How does that look?
-
• #2849
Took my sweet arse time with it with shrink wrap and all. Super tidy and fit for the gram!

What do people use to install the internal seat post battery for Shimano so it stays in place?
However it appears the new deda bars do not have the proper internal routing anymore.
