Why not buy 8070 shifters and calipers and 8050 rd fd and other stuff like battery junction boxes etc
-
• #2778
Might be interested in taking the r785 shifters and calipers off your hands - how much you thinking?
-
• #2779
Thought it might be cheaper to get this kit than all the individual parts. Plus it means I can get riding now than wait for the R8070 kit.

R8070 is in stock at some places. The '8070' bit is only the shifters and brakes.

That's not bad, but would need to shift the R785s, need to rethink this...
-
• #2782
do you just have the R785 as shifters? They will still work with R8070 brakes and everything else (FD, RD etc.)
I started collecting bits for R8070 groupset for the canyon so far have only got junction boxes and the battery, if I decide to get a whole groupset I can sell you those bits cheap.

Bought for £300 off forum so would look to sell for same. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/312951/
-
• #2784
That'll be handy is you get the whole job. Don't know the individual little bits needed so figure the groupset takes the guess work out
-
• #2785
I'm interested in R785 shifters if you sell, or any other di2 parts that are not derailleurs.
-
• #2786
I can sell you the BT-DN110, SM-EW90-A, SM-JC40 for £150 then you need cables, FD, RD, Shifters, brakes and cranks.
-
• #2787
Those are the internal battery and two junction boxes right? Is that the newer battery type?
-
• #2788
yes and yes
-
• #2789
Y u no set up 4 sale thread?
I'd have had those off you last week, too fucking late now.
-
• #2790
I've got a 6870 partial group going here:

soz .. too lazy
-
• #2793
@swmlon has first dibs and most likely gonna collect today soz
Sounds like my Ch-O.P.E.N.
Just go XT rear mech, works wonders.100% get dynamo that was my biggest regret and consider 650b, when I realised I needed a dynamo I thought might as well do the 650b Horizon thing and it is amazing, I am using lightbicycle flyweight rims, the wheelset weighed same as top end shallow 700c tubular wheelset with a SON dynamo.

No worries.
Wanna go cheap so happy to go with BTR-2 if I can find one.
Looking for a rear mech. Still have the ultegra GS I got from you, but fear it might bot be best for a 1x11 setup.

Di2 people: I have an internal 6870 group for sells with internal seatpost battery. Someone would like it, but they need to run it externally.
is this external battery mount for the seatpost battery all they need, assuming the e-tubes reach?
-
• #2796
and the external junction box
-
• #2797
The description here seems to indicate that the case acts as the 'B' junction box

-
• #2798
Only if the want to run the cables externally and join them externally :)
-
• #2799
Yes everything will be external. Do you mean box a or box b? Can you link to the bits required?
-
• #2800
The external junction box sits under the bottom bracket where you would normally attach a cable guide.
It all depends how they want to route the cables, but they might want to use that if the cables aren't long enough to reach the rear derailleur from the battery, it may not be necessary though, as you say the external battery mount contains a junction box anyway.
Yeah, spotted that. Brings price to just over £800 which seems a good price if I can then sell on the shifters
