What's the plan for getting back if you're too knackered to ride? Do we need to book train tix with bike places in advance?
-
• #103
Groupsave on the day should be fine (blocks of 4) and is always cheapest.
The intention for some of us, to be decided on the day, to ride back. Those of us who choose to ride back will of course equip for night riding.

Just popped out to the shops and wondered whether I should put lights on.
I've never done your route at night before Steve but Laner and I did a similar one to Cambridge and back at night a few weeks ago...bloody hell it was dark on those lanes!

I'm possibly out...ballsed up my finances for this month and don't get paid until next week - will have to see how cash flow is by Sunday I reckon! It's about a tenner back on the train, isn't it?
-
• #115
Its £15 for a single on trainline Poots, but someoen was saying about 4 people getting tickets making it cheaper?
-
• #116
Don't suppose anyone wants to buy a new black Selle Rolls for £30 like this one here and fund my trip to Cambridge?
http://www.simpsoncycles.co.uk/product.php/336/selle_san_marco_rolls_saddle_black
Should go and start a thread in classifieds, eh?

Groupsave is always the way to go. 4 peeps.
-
• #125
You can groupsave with three people too but there is less of a discount.
Laner, Katie and myself got back for about £11.50 on groupsave a few weeks ago.
