Nice! We can work around printing/laminating haps...I can print in colour at work for a start.

Mostly made of wheat, though Soba are made of buckwheat, which isn't actually related to wheat at all and is a plant in the rhubarb family. If you can't eat wheat, you can eat Soba. In Japan there are restaurants that serve exclusively soba, it's difficult to come by here though, especially fresh. You can get dried soba, but they aren't the same IMHO.

Perhaps all three? Maybe if you make a spokecard design to be printed on to paper that I could fold into a ninja star (I.e. your design on the visible parts) then we laminate the star?

I'm liking that idea, tonight/tomorrow I'll make my lady fold this thing for me and see which bits are visible.

its still a raw idea really, will add some hair, outerline for the caption perhaps, and smooth out the whole image [pixelisation still visible here and there], as probably we are going to need a bigger resolution...

its made by me, I was inspired by one image I have seen long time ago with a girl eating soup, so I decided to steal that idea and redo it from the scratch, so that I could still add some lfgss specific bits [cycling cap, triangles on the bowl etc.].
