Lachlan Morton Spotting. In Scotland currently so made the most of the time and went dot hunting.
Super nice guy and super quick.

Lachlan has finished. I wasn’t that enamoured with him when watching the whereabouts videos, but I’m starting to like him. Also like how they (EF/rapha) went for an interesting low key event rather than straight into TCR or Trans Am which I think would have pissed off a lot of people, justified or not.

He showed an aptitude for this kind of event, although it's hard to judge how well he'd do up against the top ultra riders.
I wonder if he's doing any more road races with EF this year? I'm curious as to what impact a ride like that would have on his form.

The Trans Alba starts on Monday, is there a separate thread for it? I've seen some comments on here but as quick search turned up nothing.

Huh?

It’s not just about the engine though is it? The mental side is equally important, in both ultra cycling and the pro sport.
Morton is a case in point, he’s got an amazing engine but has had well documented struggles with the mental aspects of pro cycling.

Some ultra veteran women are doing a mad 600km around the peak district in support of Friends of the Peak:

Yikes. Some strong riders in there though and the weather looks good for it.

That Pan Celtic race is looking brutal with this weather ...

Following a bloke doing on Strava and he’s miserable.

As I commented on a FB page, I will not be rushing to do this one. The drivers in Sicily were scary and from what I've heard it's the same for the South of Italy in general. And that's coming from someone that cycles regularly in Essex.
