Any date but the 26th - is Grand Slam In a Day ride...good 50 odd miles that day though ; )
... forgive the interruption, Poots, but are you joining us on the Town and Gown, Sunday, 13th May?
All you fine ladies are very welcome, especially if you are up for dressing up, and playing Mary Poppins, to the boy's chimney sweeps.

Yeah April / May are busy busy! Be good not to clash weekends with t'other stuff, especially if there are other rides which involve booze on offer. I'm going to attempt a doodlycallendar thingy....

Just realized how busy my life will be in the next couple of months! Bonkers! I'm away for the first 2 weekends of June, Isle of Wight randonee, GSIAD and HHSB Asspokkalyyppze in May... Loving it!

Well done for doodle lady. We could also add the 4th or 5th June as that is a long bank holiday weekend.
And can't do may as I have to finish all my uni stuff. -
• #958
Oh good thinking! Ok I'll amend the doodle calendar in a mo. That might work out as the winner I guess - May is crazy busy! Lola - are you away that whole bank holiday weekend?
-
• #959
I'm away between 1st and 10th...meh. But please plan the ride whenever the most ladies can do it!

Yes the summer months get filled up quick!
Generally I'm going to try to avoid long ride on Sundays so I can go to the women's track sessions, so have put "if need be" on those dates.FYI - June 9th is the Smithfield Nocturne which is always a good day out, but as it only starts at 4 or 5pm we could do a shorter ride in the morning that day.
Also I'm happy to lead a ride to Windsor (it could really be a half day ride, as it's not that far) and will probably be riding there sometime in May anyway, so I'll post up if I'm going for anyone who wants to join.

I was also going to attempt the Windy Millers ride on the 29th of April. (signed up ages ago) so maybe the available ladies wan tot come along as well? I'm slightly concerned about the 100mile distance, but it's pretty damn flat at the end, so miht not be too hard.

Ooo Windsor sounds good! How about you lead the next one to Windsor then - maybe the weekend of the 12th/13th? Or some time in June (I'm going to add some more dates to the poll, as it's so busy for everyone at the mo.)

I'm already on Windy Millers - it's got the flattest profile of any ride I've ever seen during the last section so it'd be a nice century to do.

Yes I know, same here! I love track...
But I'm really tempted to finally ride my first 100 miles! I would probably do it geared though.I feel much better thanks lady! I think I was just tired and had my lunch too late (pretty much just before I left for the track, idiot) and the girl in a yellow jacket was soooo fast...meh...
I'm lapping with Velo Sisters in Regents Park tonight and will work double hard! Who's coming? -
• #968
Glad you're feeling better ~ that girl in the yellow jacket just about broke me... hopefully will still have some legs tonight ~ see you at regents

I think I'm up for the Windy Millers ride. Never done a century before, so a bit worried, but the flatness of the end is promising.

that girl in the yellow jacket just about broke me...
She broke me in half! I would stop anyway (as I was really close to be sick in the middle of the track!) but her being strong like a super woman didn't help either :-/ I'm a looser...
