Dropping, but not massively. Even good qualit 3Gs hold their value relatively well.

^ i agree that iphones historically hold their value well. But as well as iphone 4 sets being dumped on the market dictating price of second hand iphone 4 there will be the added factor of apple readjusting the pricing of iphone 4.this will also impact the price. Everyone is going out to get the last phone done under Steve Jobs' watch.

You're right to an extent, but I think that fashion and desirability are more of a factor in the second hand market than new unit price.

They look identical so there's less show-off factor.

Oh, I thought it's all about the features :-)
