This just went on ebay for £250: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-iPhone-4-/150667991154?pt=UK_Mobile_Phones&hash=item2314831872&autorefresh=true
I think I should be able to get more:P -

I think £300 is very reasonable, but as duncs has pointed out, the iPhone 5 or whatever it's called is due to be released this week, the 2nd hand price for the iPhone4 is expected to be lower as most geeks will be getting rid of their iPhone 4. Having said that, if you unlock your phone before selling it, it might be more attractive. Are you still on a contract with O2? If not, just call them and have it unlocked for free.

Indeed:P
But they're still the best phone on the market for at least the next couple of weeks.
It's a Pay as you go phone locked to O2 is it still possible to unlock for free? it was my friend's upgrade (on O2 obvs) so I've just had my Giffgaff sim in it.
Will look into it. -

I know Giffgaff is in theory O2 too, but are you sure it's locked to O2? Coz if your Giffgaff card works then it might not actually be locked to O2. Besides, O2 never used to lock their phones apart from when they had the monopoly deal with Apple and CPW, but I am not sure about the situation. Have you ever tried inserting a sim from other networks? It might surprise you.
Anyway, back to your question, technically, if you are still in contract, you are not really supposed to sell your phone. If it's a PAYG upgrade, then you probably could. But either way, your friend would have to do it as he was the one who bought the phone at the 1st place. They would ask you stupid question like where and when you bought it and under what name etc etc.

Oh and if you are not in a rush, you might be better off way for the 2nd hand iPhone 4 selling madness is over to sell it. The price might come back up a bit.

You can also still get £265 from Mazuma Mobile (or 291 in argos vouchers) and they are very good at giving instant payment and not dicking around pretending it's not working or that they've lost it like some of the recycling companies.
But rate might drop after todays announcement depending on what they announce

iPhone 4s will be free.Yes but on a £4949 a month contract.
Could possible be unlocked.
I had the phone replaced by an apple store some time last year so i guess they gave me an unlocked one? -
• #17
'£4949 is a lot of money to be paying a month on a contract. Do you have relatives on Neptune?

Giving up my Iphone:(
The phone is in a very good condition, I can guarantee that the screen is perfect (had a zagg invisible shield on for it's whole life). The back had one on for about 6 months but then got annoyed and ripped it off - a few small light scuffs.
And Unfortunately a couple of months back i dropped it from hip level onto my foot then onto the ground, there a mark on the corner of the phone - this happened when my bumper broke :( The bumper (case around phone) has grazed against the side of the phone in several places which is also annoying - effectively: polished the matted alu.
The phone has been jailbroken, but isn't atm because i had to update software recently for the skygo app:P so fully restored.
the home button has lost some sensitivity but if you use tip of you thumb/finger in the centre it'll work 100% of the time. Only when you casually press against the edge will it not work.- I've been told that this is because of a build up of dust behind the button - should be repairable if wanted, google it.
Box included with all manuals etc.
Wall charger does not work but will include (maybe fixable? - fuse went when house got struck by lightning.)
USB cable included (Use to charge from comp)
Headphones included.
official iphone Bumper and other silicon case included.
FORGOT TO SAY THAT THIS IS LOCKED TO O2.
AND... that it's 16GB and Black:S
Not too sure on price.
£290 or good enough offer.
I will get some pics up asap. Need to find camera as i usually take pics with iphone :S
I'm in Bristol so obviously would prefer someone to come and pick it up.
But I'm also willing to post.
