Never heard of her until this point. Sounds like she’s beyond golf club rich though: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/ng-interactive/2020/jan/12/mole-man-and-me-sue-webster-artist-home-david-adjaye
Jealous? Of course. Would love to still be able to do things like that to property in London.

"He didn't realise I had millions of pounds stuffed down my knickers" does sound like a different kind of club.

No idea how rich and why. But to be able take on a project like this in that area you're definitely very privileged.

The source of a toxic chemical spillage affecting a 12-mile stretch of canals in the West Midlands has been identified, a council has said.
Sodium cyanide, which can cause seizures, vomiting and loss of consciousness, was confirmed as the chemical spilled into the waterway in Walsall on Tuesday.
................. what are the bets on a water company dumping untreated waste into a waterway ? how does cyanide get even close to our environment in this day and age
-
• #16269
cyanide is used in making loads of things, like paper and textiles. Also used in electroplating. Lots of dodgy businesses out there cutting corners.
