Which manufacturer did you use? I'll be using metal for 3 of the walls too, then something more attractive on the front, the buildup of having the insulation between wall and frame seems like it's gonna lose me a fair bit of floor space so for that reason leaning towards a more conventional system but happy to be priced wrong. I guess I could mix up the roof and wall systems though.
Checked out that YouTube and I couldn't see any video where they're doing metal cladding. You mind pointing it out to me?

I think I used Panelsell in the end.
Yeah I wasn't trying to push it as the best choice for walls, just mentioning it's an option. Here's I think the most relevant of the vids, there are several detailing different parts of the build https://youtu.be/ol8zYBMzG3Q
he actually puts wood cladding on the outside afterwards. but you could leave the SIP uncovered as just the metal panels -

It's more for decoration, going to have a mini bar in the corner.its a Power shed so not insulated, 14mm t&g with 25x50 baton framing.

Yeah fair. I wouldn't bother tbh. Can't imagine it would make much difference. And depending on the pallets you're using that wood may be treated anyway?

Nice one. That wall buildup is pretty chunky but I guess he gets the gaps between his posts back as storage space. Will definitely consider this, with panels cut to size it would take a huge amount of faff out of the job.

I have a shed question. I built a shed and put on some terrible roofing to get it through the winter. I want to put on a green/sedum roof. What I can't work our is how to deal with the ridge and the perimeter finishing. How do I do that?

You can buy metal upstand edging. It is pricey af though.
I built a wooden upstand (far more fiddly when it came to laying down the EPDM layer) with zinc capping (also pricey af).
There are pebbles around the edges, with a cheap lawn edging strip that has now become redundant as the sedum had bedded in.

In dire need of a shed replacement and considering just buying one. Heresy perhaps in this thread but I've got enough DIY to get on with. Is there a forum approved off the shelf (within reason) shed?

I don't know about forum approved but I got a windowless Secure Tongue and Groove Apex Shed from https://www.waltons.co.uk/collections/garden-sheds
Added a few upgrades such as guttering, beefing up the door and a lick of paint but seems OK for the price.

Fair few people have got Power sheds including me - relatively simple shed to self build with easy to follow video

Excellent advice. Thanks. I'm going to see if I can get cheap angle.

I went for a double skin plastic one from Lifetime years ago and it doesn't suffer from condensation inside because of the double skinned walls. I wanted to build one but it's very difficult to keep other materials/designs condensation free.

Anyone used a massive Asgard in a parking spot? Considering options around annoying new-builds with two parking spots and no garage.

Old van parked up that never moves? If it is private land presumably it doesn't need any of the annoying MOT stuff.

Not that secure, especially for tools, and a bastard for getting a bikes in and out I would have thought.

Old van with an Asgard inside it!

I've finally got things looking kind of how I want them, so I'm excited to show off my modest little shed. 3x2m all together, half of which is taken up by hanging bike storage and spare wheels and tyres, and the other half is my tool box plus this upcycled work bench made out of our old kitchen cabinets. I'm genuinely very pleased with it, but it does make me wish I had more space. Next house, maybe.

Very nice. I've got a similar sized shed and I think you just always want/need more space. Tidiness and ruthlessness are key, and also not always my strong points

Normally a shed in a parking space is an instant letter from planing, something like this though is OK (mostly)

@Polygon obviously to buy, not rent. S/H ones aren’t stupid expensive and you’d get pretty much all your money back were you to sell it on.
Is the pallet wood performing any particular purpose? I'd say no need for a membrane assuming it's a normal garden shed
