It's on Sunday, James, not tomorrow.
First riders are off at 10:30 I think and it'll finish by 12:30 or so.

When do people plan on riding out?
It looks like I can get to see Alex both days this weekend, and I shall get better at doing crystal palace.

If you're in Croydon, I'd go over Standerstead (Sam is that the right one?) Hill, then through Warlingham, Woldingham, Titsey etc.
(it's how I get out there from Streatham, through Croydon and out)

Almost. Sanderstead Hill. And turn left just before Titsey to head towards Westerham.
That's the direct route anyway.

I think my plan would be to ride out in the morning and ride back with anyone who is riding back to London and then drop in to the hospital (its not quite croydon but south london is all just one big mental blankspot for me)
-
• #83
Reverse the way I've told you to come from Croydon then. It's downhill all the way. Almost.

DJ - if you want a simple route back to the hospital then PM me, those are my local roads.

I'll be there with a camera taking photos of grumpies shouting and sweating. If you're riding, PM your time to me and I'll try to get some flicks of you too.

Sorry Andy. I'd only got about 4 weeks "training" before the event, hadn't really seen it before, and was then ill for one of my 4 weeks. I got a bit nervous, decided against 44 x 22. Then, Sainsbury's Ed stepped in with the Ribble and it was all go. Never ridden a compact before, bit weird. But the bike itself is great. All the bike i'll need....
