That’s like 100% more expensive 😂

Ahh yeah, perhaps!
Where did you see this?

I have a metal briefcase, dimensions 45.5 x 33 x 10cm, which perfectly contains all of my snooker refereeing kit.
I want some way of attaching it to my rear pannier rack. (Wrong thread, I know, but it seems sort of appropriate - read on.)
Instead of buying a pannier that is big enough to accommodate it, I am after a more elegant solution.
First thought was to drill through the case and add some pannier clips, but that will be a bit ugly, possibly not waterproof and annoying when the case is off the bike.
Next option was to find a product that already does this task, and there is one, the Steco Attaché-Mee. But it will be heavy, non foldable and a bit fugly.
I am now thinking about a kind of net of webbing straps, two that go around the case and two that go under it, with pannier hooks attached and an anti sway clip, preferably with tensioning buckles as appropriate and retaining clips. Etc etc , waffle waffle, ummmmm.
Any suggestions or ideas that I've missed?
Any idea how to make this thing, or who to speak to? (Sadly Black Rainbow Project is not able to help me out at the moment, I asked.) -

Definitely the wrong thread.
The bikepacking answer is 1) TLS, and 2) reduce weight by using soft luggage rather than rigid racks. -

Has there been any sight of these bikes in their UK shops yet?

I picked up one of these the other day to replace my £5 decathlon one

More expensive, yes. But it has one handed closing elastic thingy, and a mesh pocket on the side. Similar offerings from other companies seem way more expensive, can't fault it really

Anyone spotted a bar harness that isn't 4.8 billion pounds or out of stock?
For last 5 years I've just been making do with whatever piece of rejected rucksack material and a roofrack strap wrapped round fork crown, stem and bars, rubs dry bags badly and a faff to get into the bag. Alpkit kango/roo always seemed to be the sensible priced option but when I remember to go check their website they are out of stock (for 5 years lol).
Have sewing machine, webbing, box of buckles, but no decent cordura type material to hand. Any magic easy to get materials that would work? -

They make a bag support that would work?

How cheap? I bought Aroogah's Topeak one pretty cheap. There's the PRO ones I think they were £70 at Sigma. The Alpkit stuff that Samuli mentioned modifying earlier in this thread.

I was asking about them back here:

If weight isn't a concern: https://www.profabrics.co.uk/products/cordura?_pos=1&_sid=a08c071bf&_ss=r&variant=21855987826777
I might have some offcuts that'd work. They are probably camo, can take a look in a couple of days.

Discussing this yday, full rack, nitto m1 or r14 or anything that kinda style combined with the qr fixing for the saddle could work.
I like the rear one here:

If you want cheap bottle holders, there's loads of Molle stuff out there that works for bikes. Thye come in all the classic prepper colours.

I'll do an unpacking photo set when I get a moment.
Probably on the snooker thread, but I'll post a cross link here.

Does it still have the pistols for tie-break duels?

These attach perfectly to wald baskets and cost £7 - i've got 2 of them and great for tools/ cooking gear
similar to this - but much much cheaper

They work really well but then you see the same thing in some random dyneema ripstop with a bit of pink paracord and it makes you want to drop $$$$

RE: Bagman supports, I think the offical ones are Alu, but I think I may try and get steel instead.
