  • So I've toured with all the panniers before but not with frame bag and improv bar bag, any issues with this set up i should consider before Monday ? Initial shake down ride was fine.

Also, any hacks for locking the bike/packs for shopping ?

    Cheers !

  • Why do frame designers put bottle cage mounts so high!

  • Multi-use options?

  • To encourage creativity ?

  • So you can reach the bottles?

  • No hacks but you can take the front wheel off so no one can ride it or only shop in small shops/news agent type places where you can take your bike inside. Just be very polite but don't really give them a chance to say no :)

  • Bit of a dredge, but do you have any more pics of how you strap this on? Ta.

  • Use the. Leather straps through further back plastic buckles to handlebars, strap through normal back loop to head tube. If I had a shorter stem/cables not in the way would have attached handlebars through the wooden dowel like normal.

  • Nice one. I've got one coming in the post, sure it'll go on nice and easy like you say.

  • Thank you!
    Just watched ice & palms.
    It's great. Real adventure.
Such a crazy combination that makes somehow makes a lot of sense, wonder how many people do it.

  • Lidl, no one seems to mind :)

  • Want.

What wheel/tyre combo is that? Need that for my commute...

  • Really excited, just booked our summer adventure. Sleeper train to Kingussie, then take 3 and a bit days getting all the way over Knoydart to Inverie and the UK's most remote pub. Then ferry and train back to Fort William and get the sleeper home. Can Not Wait.

Hopefully we'll have some spare time once we get to Inverie and can explore deeper into Knoydart a bit. All depends on the weather as to how easy that 90 odd miles is to cover.

  • I think you should splash out and get the tri-spokes

  • Look out Chiltern lanes.

  • Would anyone be interested in an Restrap bar holster?
Original version with the smaller accessory bag

    SOLD

  • UNDIBS

provided it would fit my bars which are salsa cowbells...

  • Ive used it with cowbells, but it depends on the width. Collection from N10 if you want to test fit?

  • they are 44cm ones

are you central for meet at all?

  • I've had no problem with 44cm bars, but do feel free to try first. I've got to meet @mustardbeak tomorrow evening at the Exmouth arms in Farringdon if thats any good?

  • don't think i will be able to make it over to exmouth arms this eve - what sort of time?

where are you during the days?

  • Is it possible to buy a restrap accessory bag separately from them? I have a holster...
