Anyone need an Alpkit airlock dual 20l?
I’ve never really used it since I bought it. Think I need something more structured, really.

Does anyone have that offroad route to Southend in Strava? I'd like to create it as a route in there and see what VeloViewer tiles it ticks off. I only have it in MapMyRide at the moment and can't see a way to transfer it over.

I notice PX selling that anti-sway saddle bag thing

Nice, good option for carrying more water too. (My DIY version snapped)

As an experienced bike packer, you may found an disadvantage of rackless saddle bag is annoying swag while riding, and it may affect riders balance. WOHO team has now come up with a solution...
A metal accessory that you (semi) permanently attach to your bike, which helps you carry items of soft luggage and which remains attached to your bike when said soft luggage comes off.
I'm sure I've seen an accessory like this...I once saw one on one of those olde worlde touring bikes...it has a short name...4 letters at most...

It's probably lighter than that thing that doesn't come to mind, but less useful in my opinion.

Those Apidura saddle bags can get in the sea. 3000km on mine and there's a hole where it's rubbed on the seatpost and it swings like an absolute pig.

They’ll probably repair it for you if you ask.

Depending on how you look at life that could be viewed as a positive... my Revelate rubs holes in frames...

What is the current go to rear bike pack, I have a large Restrap bag that I'm happy with but want something much smaller. Maybe even the smallest restrap bag may be too big.
-

How small? Ortlieb do a variety of sizes. Then there's all the normal ones - think mine is a Specialized and my old one is maybe Topeak.

Enough for overnight stuff/ spare jacket etc
Did I also say cheap? -

What are you wanting to carry? Smaller than 4L roll closure ?

Just had a look at the Ortlieb Saddle Bag Large, 2.7l. Think that will suffice

Looks about the same size as a Restrap but cheaper.

If it uses their click on fixing I would avoid, seen loads fail. Either big x top above or Restrap for magnets.

Carradice for £15 https://www.carradice.co.uk/bags/saddle-packs-sqr-bags/carradura-super-midi-saddlepack if you're looking around 2.5l.

That looks tiny, i'm thinking the restrap 4litre will have to be, thinking about what i need for 2-3 days, a pair of shorts, jacket and merino top of some sorts.

Actually used Tilbury Ferry on a recent ride - was interesting. It’s about the size of a minibus.

They had to get everybody to move to the other side when I got on that ferry during the Orbital 300.
-

4L will be perfect for that.

Are you why the Woolwich Ferry isn’t running for a few months?
Sounds great. I’ll plan a route to catch it - avoiding the ferry. Good tip. Didn’t know about that. Cat is Philip Pirrip.
