The worst part about the BFF tourney was everyone manically swinging at the ball in either D rather than trying to control the ball pre-shot. It was carnage at times, with a "just hit the ball, it'll go in" kind of approach"... 3 or 4 mallets pushing at the ball/hacking/hooking each other, do not want.

But the best thing was scoring a sweet shuffle.

Nope, in my head there is a clear difference between a ball sport and ice hockey and it's mainly due to the ease with which you can control/play/pass/dump the pack. In my opinion shuffle goals are a move in this direction and I can't imagine why future polo players wouldn't "re-standardise" the mallet to make the emerging shuffle plays more "exciting"/"easy"/"innovative"? Bike polo > bike hockey (my opinion, I see one as a legitimate sport and the other as some sort of exhibition/entertainment joke).

I don't see how me posting videos of hockey in another thread are relevant to the constant equation between shuffle goals being allowed in polo and it mutating into bike hockey.
