  • But srsly, I was on this dating site for a month and messaged everyone who mentioned bikes, but just got the one answer. When I start telling them exitedly about my 100mile night rides in the rain they usually run away

  • The John Madejsk Garden at the V&A is great on a hot day, nice to sit around on the grass or wander round in the pool. Plus they've got stands selling booze and cake for impromptu picnics.

  • ^ It was so much nicer before they did it up. That courtyard Used to have a feeling of history, it was a really exiting place to be. But I suppose it didnt make them any money so it was never going to last.

  • Anyone want a helicopter ride around London?

    Now thats a nice date.

Oh nt me as a pilot.

  • Bump.

Anyone got any good ideas for a date tommorrow? I'm not in LDN but rumour has is te weather's terrible. In which case it needs to be weather proof.

I've read the thread and like the sound of the V&A. So any others? (nothing in south bank pls).

It's a second date, I haven't arranged or mentioned a time, but I'd guess late afternoon is best(?).

    Cheers.

  • http://www.geffrye-museum.org.uk/ may be chick-friendly, depending on the person (assuming it's a woman, which is quite a presumption, of course).

  • Always thought it would be entertaining to invite a lady back after the date, ask her to pick some music to put on whilst you get a drink and direct her to the music collection, where there would just be all the "Now" music CD compliations filed in order.

Ahem, all the "Now" music on CD would be missing 1-9 which were on vinyl.

  • Now that's what I call... pedantry

  • Now that's what I call... pedantry

What exactly do you mean by that?

  • "Now that's what I call Music..." + Impressive pedantry regarding the format availability of music catalogue of the same name = joke.

  • pedantry ... what exactly

    Or on double cassette.

  • ^ Now that's what I call mix-tapes for those who completely lack any imagination.

I was on a dating site once and mentioned that I'm a cycle instructor. One guy messaged me and said he'd never learnt to ride as a kid and could I teach him.

Yep its a girl. Thanks for the tip, I had no idea they had Muslims on kingsland road. Def one to remember.

Yes she is... But from various alleycat videos I'm not quite sure it's what I'm after.

Anyway the date has (sensibly by her) been moved to tomorrow evening. So that limits things...a dark bar now sounds probable. I guess some where in shoreditch...so back to that useful set of date places in the any questions thread.

  • Nah - this is a treasure hunt alleycat, not speed based, it's all about creativity and working out clues.

So come along anyway. You can join my team.

Bar for tomorrow night? Book Club is cool.
