I need to replace the fork on my 2007 Look 555. Its a Look HSC4 and the top of the steerer tube has started to delaminate.
Can anyone help me figure out what fork would make a suitable replacement? I think there an integrated bearing race but I'm not sure what the important dimensions are.

Look 253, the last top of the range steel frame they made in 1996, in Columbus Nemo. Carbon fork. Fantastic racey frame

I didn't find the thread "your bikes their stories" ... There is one ?

• #910
There's a 'Names and faces to bikes' thread, which is sort of the same. Maybe Current Projects if it's a work in progress? Whatever you do, don't put your own bikes in Bike Porn...

I'm a handlebar-preference away from putting the 243 in myself. ;-) But I'm being picky. Beautiful bike!

They're nice opposites really. Rosie's one has tidy Cosmics on now and is Finished. Was out in the sun on the track day.

Hello....I got the Look addiction also, and this thread helps ease the need and want....I have the 223, 233, 243, 253....the 223 is built, the 233 aint but is so pretty hanging on my wall, the 243 aint, its too big and a bit tatty, but makes up the set and is so cool and nicely made and the 253 is needing a seat and a little fine tuning of the gears....getting the Mavic front mech to work with campag ergo shifters has gave me hassle but I think its there now.....I Know sacrilege!...more pics to follow

My brother (a recent conversion to LOOK) and I are planning a LOOK ride sometime in the next month or two. Gonna reccy the route tomorrow and then make a thread. Leaving London, going to the seaside, 100ish kms (all metric of course, this is a themed ride).
Who's in!?
-
• #920
I would be in but would need it to be on a Sunday starting about midday however realise this probably doesn't suit most.
Where were you thinking? -
• #921
Location is top secret until we work out a good route. I'd imagine we'd leave around 9 or 10am on a Sunday morning. Just stay off the Bordeaux the night before.
