  • Really glad Paula has stuck at it. I remember her from years ago, she had a radio show and was always prompt with her feedback and very supportive. At the time I was doing PR for the likes of Tresor and Transmat.

  • And she is playing on Friday at the R&S 30 Year Anniversary.

  • Plex Colony Bleed - 1st Nov @ Corsica Studios

Ridiculous lineup: Ancient Methods, Perc, Metasplice, Kangding Ray, Svreca, AnD, Truss etc...

Can't wait for this, going to be proper.

  • Innit, going to be a belter.

  • Innit. Although I keep reading about 3 rooms, but Corsica only has 2?

    I haz the confuzed.

  • They make use of the bar next door which has a door that backs onto the smoking area. Just got the battle your way through to there first. PCM last year was rammed.

  • P/C/B looks insane!

Might have to try for the late / early session.

Something for your ears... losing my shit about 40 minutes in! https://soundcloud.com/dystopianrhythm/dystopian-rhythm-podcast-030

  • Tonight is going to be crazy. Svreca playing the 'warmup' set at 11pm, on that F1, oooof!

  • met this guy the other night at the Ableton Push tour event in Glasgow - very nice helpful guy and talented

  • People need to get to this in a couple of weeks, experimental forward thinking techno / noise stuff and a set from the mighty Imaginary Forces, put on by some good peoples and it's free in to boot.

  • Just listened to his show on NTS. Quality stuff. I'm at the Sheworks night on the 16th though sadly.

Did anyone make it down to P/C/B in the end? Quality night, not had one that much fun for a while. Ancient Methods / Perc / AnD live sets all top notch.

  • Didn't see you down there, it was a belter. Ancient Methods / Perc / Kangding Ray standout sets.

  • Definitely in on Warp at Tate, the emptyset installation/lecture at one of the previous late sessions was awesome.

I was at P/C/B, alas due to various factors I ended up leaving super early and missed most of the acts I really wanted to see :(

Enjoyed Kangding Ray and Metasplice, the bits of DJ Spider I caught were pretty great, was surprisingly underwhelmed by the TR//ER live set though

  • Didn't see you down there, it was a belter. Ancient Methods / Perc / Kangding Ray standout sets.

Gutted to miss Kanding Ray. I thought i saw you but wasn't sure as i'd checked my glasses in with my bag (I keep knocking them off my face in clubs, should really get contacts).

Did anyone see the Truss set, seemed a bit iffy to me. He slammed in Clouds - Complete Control at the end but seemed, not to bother much IMO.

  • Warp Records at the Tate anyone going to go along?

Great excuse to get out of a lame work xmas party.

  • Saw Truss I think but things were getting pretty hazy by that point. Left just as Mick Finesse was starting, which turned out to be a rare sensible decision.

First part of the line-up announced for CTM in January, some really strong imaginative bookings so far. Think I might have to go again, last years was one great.

  • max cooper was pretty influential. the night he set up in Nottingham (Firefly) was my intro. good times.

Ah, you must have been to the Marcus Garvey Centre then. Had my introduction to turning yellow at DiY parties there - crusties with their dogs prowling the dancefloor and speaker-stacks as high as the ceiling. Couldn't believe what I was part of. An old mate of mine claims to have seen a guy dancing while skinning up one handed on his opposite forearm one night. Hardcore gangsters by the toilets smoking/selling crack. Beat a night down the youth-club. DJ Misjah played a set there once. Everyone was waiting for 'Access' but he forgot to bring it, so some punter nipped home and brought his copy along. Finally he dropped it...I will forever love this track.

DJ Hell was on the same night, or close to anyway. Girlfriend irregularities meant I couldn't make it. Got a press pass for Chris Liebing tonight as part of LEAF. If they think I'll be stood impartially taking notes they've another thing coming.

  • ^ Stone Cold Classic.

Listened to some IF stuff this weekend. Sadly is clashes with the Sheworks Hydra night. Looking forward to some Sunil Sharpe and Surgeon.
