Beatport discount voucher so just nabbed Hardcell & Par Grindvik - Square and one of my all time favourite tracks Steve Rachmad's Virton (the Liebing rmx) which I already have on vinyl but that's not much use 15000k away with no turntables..

I have 2 copies of Mousse T's Horny - I like to play one backwards over the other, inducing a state of pure and eternal reverse premature ejaculation.

Tutti Void - V1[/ame]And in any other case you've got to come to the Blackest Ever Black night at Corsica in a couple of weeks because it's going to be er, entirely sensible.

Yes, good. Just played it. You may already know them but these two are also excellent.

Nothing tops Coil though. I've been properly listening to them for all of 3 days now, and I'm gobbling it up. Me and a mate went to see Throbbing Gristle a while back and it was all very good, but what stuck in my mind was Sleazy. He was wearing this item http://www.lfgss.com/post3149511-905.html (from cool as fuck thread).
He sat stock-still the whole gig, except for wagging a sole finger in the air throughout in time to the music. Doesn't sound like much, or read like it should be memorable, but I was transfixed/impressed. It was such an odd, polite reaction to ugly music - this metronomic finger putting stage histrionics to shame - a very singular, unaffected and entirely unselfconscious way of daring to be different by not doing a great deal. You had Gen being all weird and plenty of oddballs in the crowd, but nothing touched the deliberate movement of a single fucking finger. He struck me as by far and away the most interesting person in the room, so after the fact I'm going through his work.
What I'm loving is the number of times I hear a Coil track and just think, 'This is the most profound thing I've ever heard'. Then another track makes me think again. Their consistency/range/completeness of vision is almost too much to take in, but I'm loving every second of it.

I went to Hard Wax once. DJ Koze on the turntable next to me. There are no celebrities in Berlin. I was trying so hard to be nonchalant. I was 19. It was fucking cool.
