BUMP
Shinkuu Kiss and I were talking about this last night. Definitely up for it again. He mentioned LMNH has a new place on Southbank if the West idea doesn't work out.

Ummm ... kinda busy planning an event at the moment!
How would doing it in October/November sound? I'll be free to sort out after the end of September, so just need a few weeks to prep the maps and spoke cards, etc.
In the meantime you guys can choose a location - the following requirements needed:
- central or westerly
- location by the river adds dimension
- base camp must have WiFi, and be friendly to a gaggle of taggers and me consuming tea for an afternoon.
- players must have an iPad per team (or suitable phone) - going digital this time!
- spoke card designs needed
- central or westerly

For a location that matches these bits:

I would suggest considering Royal Festival Hall at The Southbank Centre. It has free (AFAIK) WiFi, a bar/cafe, good bike parking, central riverside location, happy with large numbers of people wandering round inside/sitting about for meetings, power on the first floor internal balcony bits, and is a good place for those at basecamp to sit and people watch.
- central or westerly

Is this thread still running? Looked like a cool idea from where it originally started as weekend ride for fixies.

LongAndWinding did such a grand job with this last time I suspect people were hoping for her to resume her organising role, with or without baby on board :)

All this, except a location that might be better suited for me - maybe Southwark by the river? All hinges on location, then I can create the maps. Maybe August?.

Southwark would be good for some interesting/historical/nautical tags. Not that I'm biased. ;)
If you and Aroogah want to take part, I'd happily look after B for you :)

Aroogah prob won't be too bothered about taking part, just need to check diaries so he can babysit for the afternoon. I wouldn 't mind taking part myself though, can still run the game as well though :)
Any thoughts for a suitable location? Need somewhere with free wifi - any cafes with outdoor space by the river?
