I'm not able to make the first Essex ride so if the number of riders allowed increases boy-howdy would I like to come.

Pete, you PM'd me about this ride when you PM'd spybot and Dropout. I said I was keen for both the rides you were organising -- and you added me to the list for the other one, so I thought you had added me for this too. What gives?

Yup, don't worry, really shouldn't be necessary. Hoping to speak to MOD Shoeburyness in the next few days re: numbers.

I heard back from MoD Shoeburyness today and had a chat on the phone with their Community Liaison Officer.

We have agreed a maximum of 20 people on the ride, which means everyone who has put their name down so far will get in, plus there are spots for two more people. When they're gone, they're gone!

At the moment it's not looking we will be able to take the byway down to the village of Courtsend/the eastern end of the Broomway, but I am still talking to the MoD about this and there may be an alternative option. The Heritage Centre is all good though.

The grapes harvest is early this year so I have to be in France from the 3rd... Gutted as I really wanted to make this ride. Have fun!
