  • Barbapapas if memory serves.
    Could reshape themselves....

  • Yes, barbapapas, much better as pictures than films

    [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbapapa[/ame]

  • Or awful stripy shirts (with/without collar)

    Or all-black.

Haha, the second one was in all black!

  • Carrying on the Brutalism.

    Filmset for A Clockwork Orange.

  • ^^ I hate the coloured bits they've put on it, nearly as much as I hate the temporary canvas sign that says the same thing as the nicer metal permanent sign. Maybe this should be in the hate thread... (but I do quite like the building).

Medienhafen in Dusseldorf is quite nice but perhaps too obvious to enter in this thread.

  • Beverly Arts Center, Chicago

  • I like The Economist building too. No idea who it was by.

Now this I can't stand, just up the road from me.

Apparently it wobbles very slightly when it's super windy. I remember watching a program about it. There's a resident that keeps all the records there is of that building.

  • Trellick Tower's been calling, I know she'll leave me in the morning

  • It's all of a bit of a blur to me tbh.

i used to live in bray tower 19th floor on adelaide road swiss cottage.. on very winding days, the water slooshed about in the toilet..

i miss that view, on a clear day, south facing i could see from blackheath/kent to epsom downs

  • Haha, I'd get too creeped out with swaying buildings. Was bad enough going up on a mountain lift thingy.

  • amazing

  • Yeah that's really nice - somewhere you'd actually really like to live.

  • Beautiful inside and out.

  • Tooting my own horn but im quite proud of my handiwork:

    From this:

    to this:

    then to this:

    and finally to this:

Pretty much all me from conception to demolition to installation (apart from the services) took me just over a month, but my mum is well chuffed. Now starting on her bedroom/bathroom.

  • Good work.
Are you free to do mine?

  • Spoke to a friend of mine last night, will have my trial shift as a 'interiorist' in about 2 weeks.

  • nice work hobo, did you keep the old sink? Quite like those old deep ceramic sinks

  • Matti Suronen Future houses, classic 70's
