some friends had an idea to dress as stormtroopers and act out some scenes in Westminster underground, then somehow obtain the CCTV. someone else has probably actually done it, though.

Lovers of quality post-war LCC buildings may be interested in the campaign to oppose the partial (major part) demolition of the Elliott School in Putney, part of plans to turn it into an academy school, which seems to be gathering internet pace.

I wouldn't have any problems with seeing that demolished, only they'll probably build something even worse in its place.

Yes, probably some of that dreadful modern architecture... ;-)

I don't know what's what any more. As I've mentioned, I think at all times there were basically good architects and bad architects and the whole spectrum in between, and as a consequence good and bad buildings. There's plenty of old stuff that as far as I'm concerned can just be done away with, too.
