What is your main commuting outfit (eg. oldest clothes available, rolled up jeans, suit, lycra/ club kit).
Either cycling-specific everyday clothes or proper full on roadie wanker mode.
What are the measures you have take for safety/ comfort (eg. helmet, lights, reflectives, mudguards, toe warmers)
Decent lights and mudguards, clothing is dependable on the weather.
How do you amuse/ occupy yourself on your commute (music, imaginary conversations, provoking other road users etc)
Keep myself occupied by cycling and/or listening to music.

I've decided 100km is my minimum requirement for any kind of lycra.
Finally I'm not the only one , I don't own any lycra so over 100km is jeans still but then it gets silly

Australia used to make a big deal about it, even have actual driving helmets, unsurprisingly was not popular with the public when they tried to impend it.
The string-backed glove gives a little extra purchase on the wheel.
