^ Is that the steel one they had last year at the show into production?
Ribble is supposed to have steel frames coming back too

really? ooh. They might the winter bike I've been looking for.
Do you know when dubtap?

There was a post on road.cc from someone who had seen the prototypes last week, mudguard eyes etc no lugs. Should be pics from Cycleshow I would have thought.

perfect. I've just been weighing up whether to get a Condor Fratello, but I don't really want to fork out £600 for just the f+f of a winter bike.
I'm sure Ribble will do some crazy groupset/build deals too. Awesome.

Are the bars set up correctly on the Cinelli?
I ask because I have some Ritchey ones that have the same bend, but the rough section where the lever band is meant to grip the bars is at the first bend of the drop, if that makes sense, which would mean that the levers on the Cinelli would be mounted above the rough section.
No, it's how Chicken's (Cinelli's UK Distributor) have set it up. Cinelli have done it properly themselves on in their 2012 catalogue (my interwebs skills are too poor to extract the pic from the catalogue)

Not a 2012 bike per se, but USE have an interesting take on adapting hydraulic head units for road lever usage:

It's tidier than the other I have to says, although that got me thinking, why not incorporated it in their handlebar? obviously it mean you have limited choice of handlebar, but it'll definitely be tidier.

You need to be able to get to it.
Could maybe pop them in the stem. A little drilling for cables, and access by removing the face plate. But lets face it, when the market is there. Oil resevours will be in the hoods.

Right in the way of the hand hold on the tops, which seems a big problem for a CX bike.
If they built those in-line master cylinders in an over/under configuration as part of the stem face plate, they might have something going on.

Looking at Formula brakes. You could make a decent shaped integrated hood/resevour. I have'nt thought the gear actuation through.

G-g-g-g-g-ghost bike!
-

Indeed Marcho, it does resemble a ghost bike, even with the splattering of white paint on the ground. However, the concept of the ghost bike is very important to several people on here, and signifies a place close to where a cyclist died in an accident. I don't agree at all with the ghost bike concept, but I do respect what it stands for. Therefore, jocularity regarding that subject matter probably needs to be muted at best.

Kid A: "Hey it's really cool you've got people you've met to write something for you on your bike."
Kid B: "Oh hai, no, I just bought it like that from teh Evans bike shop, I don't understand."
:]
I'm disapointed in me as well, but I did get to run round Forest Hill at night, which is that close to being declared a World Heritage site.
Plus, it was wired- I want the wireless one as it can be used with my Garmin.
