Genesis have introduced a new aluminium track bike for £600. Still do the Flyer which is red next year, and a Flyer with down tube mounted gear levers.

Morally I have no issue with this, physically I just don't have the space. I also suspect the house mates might notice the sudden quadrupling of the electricity bill :(

It's never looked good, but lumpy fork end welds and brown paint don't exactly help.

I kind of don't mind it though. It is at least an actual track bike rather than a pretend one. Good beater material.

wack in a carbon fork, put in some lighter wheels (open pro + cheap track hubs), and it'll be a reasonably lightweight fixie skidder.

ugly, but it'll do the job it's made for.

It's doing my head in. The aggressive tilt mixed with what looks like the front end from a touring bike freaks me out.

Irks me somewhat I got the yellow one. The worst colour they've done, me thinks.
