I see where they're coming from. If their 'consultants' go online and browse through bike Forums, websites, whateva...
minimalist looking 'fixies' (or not), are the plate du jour. Anywhere.
If bikes like those keep being sold more than anything else, of course they need to have their saying...

It's actually the other way 'round. They were a tractor brand, that started making cars.
They also make Golf-cars. I used to work in Portugal, at a fair, and used to drive a Lamborghini Golf kart.

not sure if it's right to post this in here but i didn't want to post it in anti, because it isn't, but cant bring myself to post it in porn either, i think it's the bar and stem combo, used to be so smooth looking on the old one, a-head looks a bit clunky

They are.. there's a link somewhere on this forum (probably the orient express thread) that shows that the De Rosa carbon frames are just re-painted chinese things.

Steel and titanium frames are still beautiful though - especially in the flesh.
