The "south Birmingham boozer" option is out the window as the only available room was on the first floor, with poor access for bikes and it would be a little less social than I'd have hoped.

The actual venue

The spotted dog. Digbeth. He has a projector and the option to screen outdoors BUT he says it may be a little bright for a good picture, if that is the case a plasma TV will be screening indoors also.

There's nothing cool about it, it's just a place! I'm sure you've been to other places we haven't been to. It sounds much grander than what it actually is; contemporary museum with big square/lots of sets behind it so great place to hang out/skate/ride. Could you spread the Brum to Berlin linkages to the Cov/Leamington lot please? Really worried now!

It's not so much that I guess. I just don't get some of the arty stuff which is strange considering I almost went down the art route but chose IT instead (duh!) I think the A Level art course I was on didn't help.

Yep, going to try and get the projector up and running to screen it on the 15th.. If it can't stream live, then I may try and play a recorded version and tell everybody not to watch the result.. I'll keep this thread posted..
