  • I saw a guy in a bike shop once wanting a custom built fixie that worth a grand without having any knowledge of bike. He kept saying, whatever you say mate, as long as it looks good...

I bet he was annoyed when it turned out that Scoble was the sales assistant.

Oh does he work at Evans? It wasn't Evans I referred to, it was a fixie specialist which i shouldn't really name.

  • can you post a copy of the CEN certificate for these frames and components please.

  • I've just bought a Charge Scissor frame from Evans for £130, trick fork for £80, good FSA Pig headset for £30. Second hand cranks, stem, seatpost and saddle. Wheels - cheap but solid hand made Weinmanns for let's say £70. Seems a better deal.

  • There are a million better deals if you're counting second hand, self build, shopping in the sales etc.

But there are also better deals at regular prices for complete, ready to ride bikes.

  • As for the frame as above, I'm sure one of those older Foffa conversion would make a better investment, because the frames were solid - Raleigh, Puch etc.

  • Yeah, but none of those bikes were Upright.

  • Orly? The one and the only -

  • only a fucktard would buy one of those.

  • This needs to be taken out of classified and merged with the other shit bikes threads.

all of them? that's 80% of the forum merged into one big pale blue shitty old conversion of shitness

  • Look at this fucking spotted shit bike.

  • Look at it.

  • As a DIY bike made from Chinese parts, I expected this to be around the £80-mark. If those wheels are assembled in China then I wouldn't expect them to keep true for long.

I think your pricing is off, and if you aren't making a massive margin on that price then reconsider your supplier.

It's already been pointed out that you can get ready-made bikes elsewhere that will have reasonable after-sales service.

I wish you good luck though.

    .

no you have to true the wheels yourself after you have bought it.

  • That's why is better to get Arrospoks.

  • or you could get one of these bad boys

swear i saw your mum on one last night?

oooof - il get my coat

  • Shite!

  • You should be called Pi r squared (πr²) which is the circumference of a circle / wheel.

  • nah.. the name is an indication of how long the bike will last... about 9.8 days.

  • It conforms to the standards

    "Is a central heated... "
