think 9mm is the thinnest spec
I tell a lie, you can get 4mm and 6mm too. 4mm is about £8 for 2400 x 1200 but would have to check if it would be strong enough to stop a ball

Has to be transparent/translucent though!

Even if it's only 600mm? If they're using it for storing podiums, junk and tyres it seems hypocritical to ask us to build it out of expensive plastic

Tennis courts in Canon Hill Park if we could book them? (the double court).
-
• #56
Making barriers seems like a lot of hard work for a one or two dayer I reckon.
Cannon hill not suitable I reckon either - I think I posted about that earlier...

We have a venue!
It's in Highgate, it's indoors, room for two courts and it's free.
First tourney planning meeting.

What what what?
Have you recce'd it? It would be advisable for one person (at least) to check it out before marshalling people for a meeting, I reckon. If it's the community centre place, it's not suitable. Although I doubt it is, because only a seriously spacially-unaware person would think you could put two courts in there.

Awesome news - well done on the find!
I reckon with a confirmed venue/date, it will motivate everyone to get involved.
Meeting is good - but we need to check the surface/barrier situation asap. Photos/general impressions from Pistaboy would be welcome.
