  • the best CM I ever went on was in Sydney,
some Aussie pulled me up and asked me what it was, i told him and he said "aw yeah, good onyas"
    in London people just say
    "you cunts"

  • Not in my experience, almost always have positive interactions with curious peds.

    long may it continue then!

  • lets face it when the old bill were on,
    it was crackin laugh
old bill on bikes, patrolling a bike ride-- ironic or what?

  • Advocacy/eh? Advocating hatred of cyclists?
    Fun/frustrating
    Slow/see above
    Peace/no- lots of aggression
    Noise/this is a positive?
Lack of motors/Loads of motors, queued up and furious
    Pedals/well, yes
Smiles/not from all the people who have abruptly had their Friday night FUBAR'd by cyclists
No Dammit/I'll give you that one

Honestly, CM generates more hatred of cyclists than anything, it's a crazy act of self harm.

  • The OP didn't ask: Can someone tell me whether they CM is a great advert for cycling? They asked for advice on what goes on, how to join in.

I think the worst advert for cycling is people who rise fast on busy London commuter streets. Not a once a month rolling party.

  • Ok, turn up to the stone circle, prepare to ride around at 2mph whilst people honk at you.

  • massers gonna mass

  • massers gonna mass

  • Dammit, I really don't see the impetus behind your energetic objection. Why not just ignore CM? I feel CM is wonderful. I really do. I will continue to do so!

what you mean like 21 mph? because the vehicular traffic dosent go any faster than it did in 1906 needs leaving behind

  • No, I'm referring not really to actual speeds really, just arrogant, racey, burning towards peds and shouting at people. As if it's ok to be a cock cos you're on a bike.

  • no need to bring Eightball into this

  • yeah I need some laughs!

  • CM is a great advert for cycling, a once a month trolling party.
    edited that for you

  • "yeah I need some laughs"

check out his pink on -one on G+ then...needs a bit of baby blue on it though

This to me is a bit odd, though- I've met you, you're a nice bloke, bright, heart in the right place and so forth.

Your support for this monthly act of ghastly selfishness confuses me.

Hey ho, the world keeps turning.

  • Yoghurt weavers gonna yoghurt

  • Dammit = 99% motorist + 1% cyclist

  • Ha didnt relise many hated it. Ive never been might be a laugh.

  • I think it is. I hope you decide for yourself! I'm sure you will.

  • @prancer
You mean massers are trolling everyone else? Or everyone here is trolling the yoghurt weavers like me? Probably both.

  • I stopped riding at CM when 3 people fell off their bikes (and tried to take me with them) within 15 minutes and half a mile. It's just not fun.
