Is this fucked, or am I just being a big girls blouse?

My beloved Roberts has a small pin hole through a lug, where the down tube meets the head tube. There also appears to be a crack running from this pin hole to the lower race of the head tube.

The frame is generally in good condition, no rust on the outside and when I've had the seat tube and forks off there's been no rust on the inside either. I figure being lugged steel it won't fail catastrophically however I am a little worried...

The combination of these three suggests that there may potentially be some catastrophic issues in the future (as in you're fucked), but don't be such large piece of womens' attire.

Alternatively, take it to Roberts in Croydon and see what they have to say about it.

No, it's my red one. It's a bit of a beater but rides like a champ so I don't want to see her go. Wll prob rid down to Roberts on Saturday. Not happy.

Yeah, bought it used off here a few years ago. That makes sense but I went over it completely when I bought it, had the forks and headset out too, and am sure it wasn't there then.

Maybe it was painted over and the paint plug has since fallen out. Fark knows. What I do know is anything to do with fixing it properly wont be cheap.

Anyone got a spare 56cm frame about.....? Swap for a Roberts in showroom condition...
