2011-07-21 - Rollapaluza Urban Hill Climb

Jolly well done everybody. Witnessing the varying degrees of meltdown at the top of the hill was an eye opener.
Who was the guy in mavic shoes shortly after Ludwig who sat down at the end and looked like he was trying to inhale the entire atmosphere one gasp at a time (good effort)

Not entirely sure, but not very well. I was all nervous and wobbly (typical reaction to hearing the word "Go!"). S'only when I got to the top that I thought, "You total pillock".

Mind you, a limiting factor is a limiting factor. I reckon next time will be much more fun.

I stayed for a the start of the seeded mens, and then I went home for a glass of warm milk.

There seem to be some errors in the provisional results, Paul--due to timing chip allocation? For instance, Alex Peters didn't ride and is listed as having done 3:14. Alex wouldn't do a time like that even if ill. :)

I'm pretty sure a reserve filled Alex Peter's slot. On a brompton. That is probably the reserves time.
