Lots of fun - interesting seeing the locals wonder what was up, then mostly get into it

Should say, fun as I wasn't racing.

I was just out of shot in Yemble's photo up there! You missed Rudy's fantastic power-bringing-rear-wheel-in-contact-with-seattube start failure. Massive shame. A really good night, the head-to-heads at the end were amazing. Glad I took part, though would have liked a later run so I could receive some crowd cheer. Always next year :)

Dragging ones self up Swains at top speed is always tough. Well done to all those who took part. Wish I was there (and being sick at the top of the hill).

Some good rides, excellent painfaces, but I was most in awe of the starting countdown - amazing, almost metronomic consistency, pushing out one count after another. Stunning performance.
