  • Just finished a new leaflet

  • Event looks great, next time you do a leaflet it really is advisable to have a graphic designer do it.

  • That picture was the puncture in the first 10 yards of Objects Xmas day ride was'nt it?

Anyway these workshops are brilliant, I went to my first one at the Stoke Newington branch last week and can't recommend them highly enough.

  • CB, are you saying we should have used a graphic designer or that my leaflet / poster looks like it was produced by a graphic designer?

  • The former by the sounds of things

  • such a great idea this

  • CB, are you saying we should have used a graphic designer or that my leaflet / poster looks like it was produced by a graphic designer?

the former and now i feel bad for giving critisism when it wasnt asked for

  • I'm not adverse to critisism even if it is not asked for I take it as a learning experience.
I'd like to use a graphic designer but I do not know any and the workshop could not afford one so that is why I do it.
So what exactly is wrong with what I have done?

  • I won't derail your thread with talk on graphic design but I will send you a quick PM with some more constructive criticism if you want. I completely understand that for a small event like this it would be insane to pay someone lots of money to design a leaflet. I also encourage people to have a go at designing things themselves.

  • I need to replace the BB on my bike and never done such things yet, I've got most of the tools apart the wrench to install/remove a standard shimano BB, would it be something I could do at the workshop tonight?

  • Yes you can do that at the workshop tonight
