Is it sad that I just requested an invite to the new Google Maps? Endlessly browsing Google Maps = Guilty pleasures>>>>>>>

Yes the new Google plus looks great. Hopefully this will mean more people migrating to it.
JB - how do I sign up for that?

Fuck Google+ and their real name policies. I hope everyone moves to Facebook and then commits social suicide.

First thoughts: going to be really good if people start using g+ more now, filtering search results by your circles is a nice way to narrow things down, seems like a nice incentive to review more. Like the highlighted regular spots on the map as well.
Overall really nice, easy to use UI, definitely a big jump forward from previous versions. Can't find a terrain layer though.

bump
Google+ is awesome for photos when linked to your phone with autobackup
But creating an account seems to have also made me Picasa account
There are two apps installed on my phone google+ and photos
Not to mention photos also seem backed up to my drive account.
-confusing-*When my photos sync to google+ with autobackup, I select the ones I like and move them into one of the albums ive created but the people ive shared the album with don't seem to be notified in anyway - am i doing it wrong?
So the new google+ looks pretty nice. Will be interesting to see how the new heavier integration of it and hangouts with google's other services will play out.
