Ed. I've been riding bikes on and off competitively in different classes pretty much all my life. I have been riding London on a daily basis for over 10 years. I think I know what I'm doing. I have had cycle training (as a favour for someone at work who was being assessed as an instructor) in the past and of genuinely didn't help me and the way I ride and I immediately reverted back to the way I was riding before.
Louis. Of all people you are welcome to skitch my car (even if the paint specialist has been working on her), but to be fair there aren't many areas to get any purchase.
Btw ed. Thanks so much for riding for us (wfw) I will buy you beer whenever I see you

interesting comment, it would be great for you to give us your experience of why cycle training didn't help, the more communication/understanding from you, the better.
Would you mind posting your experience of Cycle Training in this topic?

Not a problem, I related to the charity and very much support it's nature, and I hasn't been to the Lake District in years, so I'm killing two bird with one stone by riding with Daniel to the Lake District.
It's just a pity that I have to leave almost straight away after arriving in Cumberland, can't get anymore time off from work.

This could form the basis of an interesting thread in itself in the Cycle Training Forum, I reckon. :)
So how do you know what Cycle Training is about when you hasn't took it in the first place? how can you be certain that what you've learn overtime is the right course of action?
I used to said the same thing last year, though I know enough to not required Cycle Training thinking it's not necessary for me.
Some of the respected members encouraged me to take it netherless, in the end I took it (no harm in trying) and realised that Cycle Training is actually extraordinary useful and a fantastic way to become a better cyclist.
And you know what? I actually enjoyed cycling a lots more than I used to.
