im gona make my next one all white, so it looks like a ghost bike and then stick a little plaque on it saying "in remembrance of my beloved, Super Colnago"
Im pretty sure I have seen someone riding a ghost bike a few months back, but I decided I must be seeing things. Hopefully someone had the same idea as you.

Sad reality is that if a bike is poorly locked the thieves will steal anything. Even to sell it for like a tenner.
I have heard stories of junkies stealing £800 quid bikes and giving them to their dealers in exchange for like a score bag of smack.
I would just lock it as securely as you can maybe next to poorly locked bikes so they get stolen and not yours. Or you could remove all the branding from your bike so then they will have less of an idea of the bikes value.
Or you could always piss on it. Who wants a bike that smells of piss?

Grow some plants on it.
Can't find the thread/posts about growing stuff on your bike, so here will do.
For the love of God...
"Do you love riding your bike? What about plants? Bring your plants on an adventure and let them enjoy some sunshine and fresh air! If you’ve ever dreamed about attaching a plant to your bike, now you’re in luck!"

I think they work using cell phone signals?
At least that was the impression given by neat little lines that the video showed (with the sound muted).
