  • I'm not sure - I've always thought they were a clever idea and if designed well enough then why not.

  • This is like the world's most difficult search - they're expensive, hard to find nice + comfy and long lead times.

I have a Laura Ashley one like this, which is really comfy and has a proper fold out bed. Unfortunately it doesn't quite fit in the width of the room, so has to be moved to length ways.

But in a greeny/blue tweedy type material. I'd let it go for £300

  • Also never knew this thread existed.

I spent 8 months deciding on an armchair and finally (with the help of @Fahrgestell) went for a HAY can chair, with red frame and blue sides/cushions.

  • Did a new shelf:

  • Had a bit of a splurge at the SCP warehouse sale

Also bought string shelf unit with cabinet and magazine rack, mirror and light fittings - worth getting up at 6:30am for!

  • Duuuuuuuuuuude!

  • Ta 'loin. Didn't see this and ended up on Made for now. It's one I'd seen in a showroom and in chair form it's v comfy. It's also good for tall ones. That HAY is dead fancy.

  • It's all about 15mm birch ply now Joe. You've converted me.

  • That's real nice as well - I sent over enough to convert anyone! :P Would look great as open shelves in a kitchen with small grooves for plates...

If anyone wanted the sofa bed from up there before I list it on the forum, then £250 would actually take it as I bought the above sofa today and need some room...

  • Ta. I'm working through and obsession with oak-lipped ply just now. About to do a whole restaurant in Peckham with it, I'm absolutely sure there'll be a load of off-cuts if you want paying back...

  • genius - so pretty and practical

  • who the fuck hangs their roll back to front

  • Ha! I just saw the discussion in the 'i confess' thread...

  • Ha! What spacing is a bog roll anyway?

  • Can I ask which one you went for? I'm currently looking for a sofa bed with a near-identical set of requirements, down to the 1.95m height stipulation.

  • 110mm for a neat fit (or NJS TP), 120mm to be safe.

  • It's been quite a long wait but it arrived yesterday. Thanks @Fahrgestell :)

  • 5/5 would sit again.

  • @Tenderloin yes!! Glad you're happy!!

  • Selling this Verco V-Smart in brown leather and polished if anyone's interested. £80 located in Bristol.

  • Sourced a Very Good & Proper table and chairs which is the final piece of the puzzle for the downstairs.

  • I started following them on IG and ordered a bunch of Terrazzo samples from Diespeker after becoming mildly obsessed with the stuff!

  • Shame their prices and service is a bit wack.

  • I got the samples and never went any further than that.

Though a new worktop would look beaut with that grey/blue speckle
