- Normal London traffic will simply vanish in a puff of positivity and optimism.
- Everything will be 'fantastic' 'inspiring' and 'amazing'
- See '2' unless you're on twitter in which case it will be 'great'.

You remind me of someone.
I've just worked out who my new internet lawyer is going to be.

Cycle lane symbols tarmaced over on Lower Thames Street and Tower Hill this morning. Thanks, guys!

Assuming everyone has seen the news. You can cycle in them now apparently.
que?

Not bothered about the lanes themselves really but the traffic light phase changes have ruined my commute. OKR is a carpark both directions morning and night god knows how bad it will get when the lanes go live.
But that means that you get to trackstand your road bike.Which is your thing.

H2 2012 is all about internet financial advice. Possibly with no small amount of child rearing tips, tricks and constructive criticism. -

Ah-HA, I wondered why the motorised traffic was so buggered recently.
I couldn't spot any new road works/gas works/blah, so was wondering what it could be- thanks for pointing it out.

I've only recently moved to the area, but part of my commute is this road:
On my ride home from working heading north, traffic light phasing is horrendous making it take forever, with little opportunity for filtering. I've timed it - the light stays red for a minute, before turning green for ... wait for it ... 10 seconds.
Is this just for the olympics or do I need to find a new route.
Secondly, anyone know if it's possible to ride all the way through West Carriage Drive during the olympics and if not what might be a good alternative route?

I will be avoiding the ORNs as my missus is driving pints of piss around in them.

I travel between kings cross and old street via angel, all of which has the bus & olympic lane, i currently cycle most of the way in the bus lane so im guessing i can carry on doing the same..?

Only just went up on Kingsway and noticing that it's a single lane now.

highly advised you to look around the forum first before firing such question to any random post.
Quella look shit.
There's no fixie scene, you either want to ride, or not.
This is all.

Christ.
In general, you'll get better quality components, and frame for the same price, if you buy a second hand frame and put your own components.
Also, UTFS. http://www.lfgss.com/thread9085.html -

Also Barclays hire bikes are not allowed within 2 mile radius of Olympic site as it's sponsored by Lloyds? Does anyone know about this?
Visa are the sponsors, Barclaycard is Visa so...

The South end of South bound London Bridge phasing seems to have been fucked about with too. A standstill at 11pm yesterday. -

Seb Coe, though.

there was a sign indicating that there was a cyclist's detour from tooley street round towards borough market (i.e. turn left not right onto london bridge) this morning.
thing is London bridge was completely clear (I ignored the sign) except for the usual 3 buses blocking the northbound entrance and idiotic peds crossing in front of you along the entirety of the bridge..
-
• #173
it's a southbound thing seems like, last few times I've been going that way it's been chokka to about 2/3 way across the bridge, even really late at night/earlymorning.

I bet that only for female games...
-

You buy the ticket for a session and there are both male and female games in each session. I will be at the bar when the male games are on rather than watching blokes in budgie smugglers jump about in the sand.
