tiswas, fail. That build is almost perfect. I'd never use black parts on that, but otherwise it's bang on.
I have a lugged chrome stem if you're interested... GB manufactured 'Il Primo Milano', with enamalled badge. It's short though, about 3"./hijack

Bike now sold, to the first person who enquired, only a few minutes before metrocammell.
I think I had to sell to the first who contacted me with the asking price and hope that hasn't upset anyone on here. I will make a donation to the site of course, in thanks for such a great response to a unique machine. The owner is amazed that it sold so quickly for the full price, just showing what a great group are on here.

Hilary Stone buys it ahead of someone that genuinely wanted it, and then flogs it on at a massively inflated price?
WAC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
he is effectively a business.
i don't really like what he's done, but there's no point in claiming that he was some kind of holy non-profit salesman..

Yeah it sucks, gutted. I had it happen with another Mercian actually! A really nice burgundy Lo-Pro that was on Ebay, got removed an hour before ending, only to be miraculously hanging on a wall in the Tokyo Fixed shop when it opened approc £200 more than it finished on!

I was just hoping it went to a lover, not to someone wanted to make business out of it. I feel robbed.

Might not sell - I know it has provenance but maybe nobody will care about whether tom crowther owned it or not - I personally don't.
Anyone can put a pricetag on something - it's not worth a penny until it's sold.

And i wouldnt have minded if he had the first dibs, but obviously he made a bigger offer and my first dibs meant nothing.
I think that these sort of operations should cost the ban or something, it cant be all normal. Where is the forum's spirit?
Shit on my legs.
That's beautiful. Hope it goes to a good home.
