I love how this thread started. All constructive criticism. I thought something is wrong, where are the wolves, this guy should be getting it? Then along came Skull-dog and and Angel. Ahh, now order has been restored once more.
There is nothing wolf like about my critique...it's totally constructive, there is little animosity considering that I (we) could have been far more scathing with my response, as for being called a pervert...well paulo...it's a shame we couldn't get more excited by your paint job...which is decidedly average.
You may think that you can provide a service that is comparable to argos, bob jackson and mario...though to be honest you have posted evidence to suggest that you aren't as good as any of those mentioned, the metallic blue looks as flat as hell and the red frame looks hideously thick, glossy yes...though really thick...and you still have missed a pin hole...and if it's that thick and glossy, it suggests you took the photo when the paint was still wet....
Attention to detail, which is what refinishing is all about, doesn't seem to be your strong point.
and to those claiming that this is sour grapes and we are jumping on paulo and being mean to him..well, this isn't about personal attacks, this is about the 'community'...ie the sharing of knowledge...and making sure that someone that is looking at a new paint job doesn't get ripped off, and when you go about advertising your wares in such a fashion, (in a round about this is an over priced bicycle I painted masquerading as an advert), you can expect to get 'lynched'.
