So the Gowlett has been mentioned a few times before but I never paid it any attention until Tom Da Bomb endorsed it last week. After that I had no choice. They also do beer there so we can stay in and get our guzzle on.

Nice, strolling distance from home. Highly reccomend the Gowlettini, goat's cheese, parma ham and rocket.

What went wrong? I was in not so long ago and it was as good as it's always been.

Same here! I had an amazing bruschetta, poss the best ever and a pretty dandy Napoletana only a few weeks ago. And complimentary limoncello > mints with bill.

Ambience is alright, pizza base was so heavy. For the price there are way better out there.

Plus the pizza wasn't very hot when it arrived and just general lack of flavour - this is what happens when you become pizza connoisseurs

Plus you weren't with the posse.

Let this serve as a lesson to those who pizza alone!

Sounds like an off day, tho you may be getting too demanding. If you eat caviar every day it's difficult to return to sausages.

Had a couple of slices of freshly baked pizza at Agile Rabbit in Brixton Village, last night. I can report that the pizza bases were excellent (thin and crispy) and the toppings were not bad at all. Significantly better than that bus in Deptford.

Damn! You've reminded me, I've gotta photograph the LCC AGM. I'm out.
