So, let me get this straight, you work for a commercial entity selling Duell bikes and your only threads on here are about Duell bikes. Very quickly give me a reason not to ban you for spamming..

Hi Hippy
Because its a genuine Group I'm trying to create for classic Duell bikes and have already been chatting to some guys on Retrobike forum who thought it was a good idea. So hence putting a post on here. In answer to your comment regarding selling bikes, these are predominantly to the trade so def not trying to sell on a forum.. just not geared to that I'm afraid. I have posted previously to answers questions that members have posted. If you wish to ban me there really is nothing I can do about that, even though I can be sometimes of help to members etc
Best regards

I suggest Hippy and Peter fight it out to decide this. Perhaps with pistols at dawn.

Its down to Hippy I'm afraid - I've no shot left in my pistol so can only rely on ducking the flying lead.

The impetus from this hasn't necessarily come directly from Leader1, from what I can gather - on a for sale thread here recently, for a duell (which I picked up), there were quite a lot of people coming out of the woodwork wanting to discuss this builder, van Dalen. So let's just see how the thread pans out shall we?Cheers

I've read the thread and it looks like you were pushing info not bikes. My spidey spam sensors were tingly yesterday. Carry on people, nothing to see.
Don't Duell make motorbikes?

Anyway back to the Duells.
I haven't built mine yet. And it's had some HORRIBLE paint touch ups done to it here and there. But it's gonna be a beaut anyway. Just trying to obtain something like nice parts, going early 10 speed Campag, except wheelset which I think will be on the older heavier side to allow for my inelegant and rather crap riding technique. And pies.

Not that I'm aware off, but Jan van Dalen's brother Brady, who does the paint work for him, sprays motor bikes and helmets as well.

So many lovely Duells floating about on the forum and being a great lover (of Duells) myself I thought it was time to start an official thread to celebrate Duells greatness!
I've had the pleasure of 3 passing through my hands and have another on the way.
I'll upload pics later....
Here they are:
Advantage - Columbus Max tubing
Warrior - Columbus Brain tubing
Unknown - SLX tubing

I'll just leave this here. One of the very few lopros that I actually like.
Hi guys and gals
If there are any Duell bike (or frames made by Jan van Dalen) riders out there who would like to post their bike pics on a Flickr Group that I've just created for Duell bikes it would be most appreciated. Looking through various forums I found quite a lot of Duell enthusiasts out there, so why not create a central ''bank'' for pics and info. Also as I'm currently revitalising the brand here in the UK seems a shame not to include the many classic models that were previously built. So, here's hoping for some success.

Thanks
