Nice to hear you enjoyed it!! I used to ride from Stoke newington to Victoria and back everyday through holborn and now ride from Crystal Palace to Vic and back through Brixton. Would have to say the later is prob a bit safer.
Of the 4 times I had minor Crashes in Central London 2 were other cyclists and 2 were pedos stepping out. Basically if you are moving past stationary traffic be hyper aware of what's going on cause that is when people go on the roads when they aren't meant to be. The other time is when there are no cars so they don't look, this is where bells work great but yelling is more fun.
Cheers

I'll bear that in mind in future, the only time I usually have trouble with peds where I am is in chichester along the bus only route through the centre. People just step out because they can't hear a bus!

Nice thread and all that but please, one point of pedantry.
It is Central London as you say in your post and not "Central" as you say in the title. "Central" is a part of Hong Kong. Central London is divided between the West End and The City. Collectively they are known as Central London and never Central.
Hope this is clear.

central is fine for me, I will keep using it regardless

Cliveo are we still allowed to "go up west"
I have always called it central because I live in the middle of nowhere and everything is directed at london :p.
I get your point though, I will brush up on my geography for next time.
