Thats a shame but tapsnbath and I would be up for a roll with some more tandemistas when we can!

I have to deliver a tandem to London from my mum's place in Lincolnshire. Planning on doing it the weekend of 13th /14th August. The intention is to make Cambridge on the Saturday, stay over, then chew up the remaining 50-60 miles into town on Sunday. Anybody who would like to join for the Cambridge - London leg (or indeed for the whole thing) is welcome!
East Coast mainline are OK for tandems if you book in advance. I suspect the logistics to Cambridge on the train are less straightforward, but I've never tried.

Doing the London to Southend on ours on the 17th, hopefully be easier (not so many cobbles!) than the London Classic earlier this year!
Would definitely be up for group ride sometime too!

Damn. World tandem championships that tapsnbath and I entered have been cancelled.
In all honesty thats probably my only hope at ever racing at a genuine Worlds event gone...

It's in storage at my folks at the mo, 50's uswb frame with curved seatube, gorgeous baby blue paint. Just needs a wheelset and some love really.

I would happily join with my kid on my tagalong thing. Not really a tandem but I bet you wouldn't mind. Only thing is we're pretty limited on distance and speed (but as we are separable we could eaily join for some of the ride and hop on a train back home...)

Rosie and I are tandemming to Munich and back in July, so dusting off the tandem in June would suit...

great news, glad this is gaining momentum.
ed: hands down uswb are my favorite tandems. Looking forward to seeing it.
Anyone know of a tandem friendly tour? Something with light or no traffic, a few pubs, nice views, accessible without trains and a round trip that returns us back in town?

tapsnbath and I are in.
We've got a Claud uswb from the 30's. Not got out on it enough after dunwich a couple of years ago but up for some more rides!

i feel like i may have alot of uswb envy......
Hmm, this date isn't looking amazing for me either now...
25th is my bday and while being out riding tandems would be sweet as hell I can think of other things to get done that day as well.
So, when are the euros finished with so Horatio can join us?
If any other tandemists round norfs fancy a spin one weekend then hit me up.
We'll get a proper ride sorted for later in the summer perhaps...
Route still be tbc, feeling like a rolling jaunt round essex lanes type of deal. Visit to the not-so-secret nuclear bunker perhaps?
