gonna revive this thread to let y'all know that the Dropout needs your help.

Last year on the London Classic, the forums very own Dropout, won first prize in the raffle and took home an All City Mr Pink Frameset.

Said frame has sat unbuilt and unridden since. It feels only right that Dropout should ride this years Classic only on the frame he won. So this is a call to arms, to find parts to build this beauty up, plus the time of some forumengers to help put it together in mechanical sound working order.

A wishlist of parts is being put together, and all offers are appreciated to get Dropout to Drop In to the Classic on his All City...

Fire the list over. I'm moving home and have items to spare. Including a set of Dropout's wheels that he really didn't want to sell me.

I definitely have a stem / bar combo (assuming a-head...) and a saddle. Potentially have some other stuff as well.

i've got a brand new aheadset to chuck in.

i also have wrapped drop bars and a 90mm stem i can throw in.

if the plan is gears i think i have some tiagra brifters as well.

It's an All-City Mr Pink frame (appropriate?!) so it definitely needs to be a geared build. Here's Jim holding it!

I've got a few bits that might help for this I think...

Shame it isn't actually pink. (My two complete bikes, atm, are lavender and lilac).

In that case, i have an old wheelset (shimano 10speed) which you can have. They're Bontrager X-lite so pretty nice... also have a 105 cassette on them but i can't give that away for free.

Waiting on the great man to get back to me, we still have a bit of time, so will chivvy him along at the next souths..

I have a brand new 105 rear mech that can be used and a L/H 105 STI that is in near as new condition that can go to such a worthy cause.

In fact rather than just throwing this open and seeing what you get, after the offers have cooled down, why not try posting each day asking for the next component that is needed? That way you'll end up with a peachy looking bike that John deserves and not a dogs dinner of a real mish mash of parts.
