It's over Hammersmith way. I'll be riding up from either Camberwell or Streatham.

Sorry folks, can't do google maps as i don't have an account. Will try and get something sorted before we set off Saturday so the gps'ers can do there thing. Really looking forward to this ride. You all good to meet west?

You don't need a Google account--register with one of the many route creating sites instead. I use bikemap.net, and here's a Brighton route I've used:

There are some other good mapping services that people recommend, e.g. RideWithGPS. Take your pick.

I may not actually be able to do this... Im not feeling so hot right now... But im holding out until Sat morning... I really want to do this... :-(

I'm doing an L2B ride on 5th June for my 30th though and will be posting details in next week or so.

That knocks us down to four, if we count both benjam and CB as half-possibles, plus maybe some of the people who have expressed interest but not added themselves to the list.

I think we're hijacking this thread but...

I tried to lead out down the hill but had no chance of keeping it up. Touched 30mph and then had to grab the brake before I out spun myself.

To those of you going this weekend...whatever you do, enjoy that descent! Just don't stack it right at the bottom like I did :(

It was hella scary going down all those hills fixed.

learn to spin :) i was never maxing out down those hills (was maybe in a higher ration than yous though)

i replaced my back tyre today. when the old one was off, i could see daylight through it in a couple of places!

I'm going to meet you guys at the big roundabout at the top of west hill before you turn to ride down wimbledon common, assume you'll be about 30 mins to there from H'smith (with faffing etc). BMX I've pinged you my number.

What else are people riding? Soooo tempted to take me modern bike >_<
